Staples-Motley Finishes Conference Play Victorious

The Staples-Motley Cardinals overcame a halftime deficit to wrap up its Mid-State Conference schedule 9-1 with a 65-57 victory over Detroit Lakes Tuesday night.
After trailing by as many as eight points in the first half, Jasmine McGillvray took over.
The junior poured in 27, following a 25 point performance, and drained four of the team’s nine 3-pointers.
Kayli Muckenhirn, who struggled the last time these teams played with just eight points, scored 18 for the 12-10 Lakers.
